Berkeley Outdoors, a locally owned and operated marine dealership in South Carolina, has an immediate opening for a full-time Sales Representative at their Moncks Corner (SC) location. The Sales Representative will provide sales customer service. The Sales Representative may also follow-up with customers to ensure that adequate service has been provided in a timely manner in furtherance of Berkeley Outdoors’ commitment to quality service and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate must have at least a High School diploma or equivalent. Sales, business development, or marketing experience is a plus. Position is Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Availability to work every other Saturday, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, is required (when scheduled to work a Saturday, the ability to take another day off during that same week is granted).
*This position will be responsible for servicing Berkeley Outdoors of Moncks Corner.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to inbound leads, over multiple communications channels
- Answer any questions and educate prospects about products/services provided
- Provide the appropriate level of information at the right time for interested prospects
- Follow-up, after sales/service, to ensure proper level of service was provided in a timely manner
- Keep current on all sales events, so the best information is provided to the customers
- Additional responsibilities as needed within the company
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Prior sales, business development, or marketing experience
- Marine, off-road vehicle, golf cart, and camper/RV experience (preferred)
- Experience with CRM software (preferred)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across a variety of channels
- Intermediate-level computer and typing skills
- Possess strong attention to detail
- Possess professional oral and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Ability to work Saturdays (bi-weekly)

The Master Certified Marine Technician will be responsible for providing top-notch service to customers in furtherance of Berkeley Outdoors’ commitment to quality service and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate should have 10+ years of verifiable mechanical experience. Must be certified with either Yamaha, Mercury, or Suzuki, or multiple. This is NOT an entry-level position.
Responsibilities:
- Assist and educate other technicians with difficult diagnostics
- Repair of new and used boats
- Diagnose, service and repair outboards, I/Os and inboards
- Utilize computer diagnostic equipment for various marine engine and system applications
- Troubleshoot, repair and install electrical accessories
- Hauling, launching, loading and unloading boats with boat trailers
- Handle multiple work orders and prioritize as needed
- Additional responsibilities as needed within the Service Department or company
- Prior Marine Service Technician/Mechanical experience (10+ years)
- Mechanical experience (7-9+ years)
- Marine experience (preferred)
- Master Certification in Yamaha, Mercury, and/or Suzuki (at least one required)
- Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service boats and related marine equipment
- Familiarity with marine tools and uses
- Technical degree, certification, or other degree (preferred)
- Possess strong attention to quality work and detail
- Possess professional oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Be able to work in indoor/outdoor environment
- Be able to stand for long periods of time
- Be physically capable of bending, stooping, crouching, twisting, lifting, etc.

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Marine Wash Attendant-Detailer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while ensuring boats are cleaned and detailed to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will have a passion for boats, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Exterior cleaning of new and used boats
- Recondition, detail and interior cleaning of new and used boats
- Exterior and interior cleaning of off-road vehicles
- Maintain supplies and keep track of materials used and time taken
- Follow all safety protocols while operating equipment and handling cleaning supplies.
- Completion of work to the dealership’s high standard of quality
- Completion of tasks in a timely manner
- Greet customers on lot in a friendly manner
- Moving inventory using a tractor
- May cross-train in other areas as needed
- Prior relevant experience (6+ months preferred)
- Clean driving record
- Experience with driving a tractor a plus
- Ability to operate a pressure washer, vacuum, and other tools used for cleaning/detailing
- Familiarity with cleaning solutions and their uses
- Possess strong attention to quality work and detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Self-motivated with good personal work ethic
- Be able to work in mostly outdoor environment during all seasons
